Sally Cannizzaro, Oklahoma Gifted Education Specialist

Sally Cannizzaro is a Gifted Specialist in Tulsa (OK) Public Schools, and is currently president of the Oklahoma Association for Gifted, Creative, & Talented. She holds an MS in Educational Psychology from Oklahoma State University and is also certified as an Oklahoma Gifted Education Specialist. Sally has also started her Educational Psychology (Gifted Education) PhD journey with the University of North Texas.
Sally has taught for over 20 years in Tulsa Public Schools, nearly all at the secondary level, and the last nine in gifted education. As a gifted person married to a gifted person who parent two gifted children, she has developed a passion for GT advocacy, and as such has been working to improve advocacy and service for GT students in Tulsa Public Schools.
