Professional Bio
Sally Cannizzaro is a secondary gifted teacher on special assignment to the Tulsa (OK) Public Schools Gifted Education and Talent Development Office, and is currently president of the Oklahoma Association for Gifted, Creative, & Talented. Sally holds an MS in Educational Psychology from Oklahoma State University and is also certified as an Oklahoma Gifted Education Specialist.
Sally has taught for 20 years in Tulsa Public Schools, nearly all at the secondary level, and the last eight in gifted education. As a gifted person married to a gifted person who parent two gifted children, she has developed a passion for GT advocacy, and as such has been working to improve communication and service for GT students, particularly at the secondary level, in Tulsa Public Schools.
