Melanie Haley Olson

Melanie Olson has taught in the Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District for 21 years, with the last 13 being in the Quest Program which is a school-within-a school for gifted and talented students. Melanie serves as Past President of the Minnesota Educators of the Gifted and Talented having served on the board since 2015. She has been honored with the TIES Exceptional Teacher Award, the Regional and State WEM Foundation Award, was the first Minnesota educator to receive the CSTA Award, and has been featured on the show Hands-On-Science airing on Twin Cities Public Television.
