Although they are heterogeneous in how they present cognitively, socially, and emotionally, twice-exceptional students all possess a combination of strengths and vulnerabilities that require support. Therefore, NAGC recommends strength-based, talent-focused, and inclusive identification and intervention strategies for twice-exceptional youth.
