NAGC26: Call for Proposals
November 5-8, 2026, Milwaukee, WI
SHARE YOUR EXPERTISE:
NAGC26, the NAGC Annual Convention, is the nation’s premier event for those dedicated to the education of gifted and talented learners. The NAGC Convention Committee is now accepting proposals for sessions to be presented at the in-person convention, November 5–8, 2026, in Milwaukee, WI.
PROPOSAL DESIGN:
Presenters for NAGC26 are encouraged to design sessions that are interactive, practical, and grounded in both innovation and best practice. Because the majority of attendees serve in practitioner roles—classroom teachers, campus specialists, and district coordinators—your proposals will resonate most when they balance theory with real-world application. Additionally, more than 40% of NAGC25 attendees were first-time participants, many of whom were new to gifted education. Please keep this broad range of experience in mind as you shape the focus and accessibility of your session.
NAGC26 sessions are organized into 16 Network Strands. We encourage potential presenters to review the strand descriptions to find the best match for your proposed session.
Presenters are asked to:
- Consider the audience and content level for their presentations.
- Consider the modality/type of presentation they’ll be sharing.
- Consider alternative durations for their presentation.
- Provide three learning outcomes. NAGC will be publishing these outcomes with session descriptions for NAGC26.

PROPOSAL TOPICS:
Proposal Alignment with NAGC's Strategic Plan and Gifted Education in Wisconsin
We encourage proposals that align with the goals outlined in NAGC’s Strategic Plan. Equity and the needs of diverse learners are central priorities for NAGC. Sessions that highlight strategies, research, or practices supporting traditionally underserved gifted students are strongly encouraged.
The NAGC 2026 Local Host Committee has compiled a list of proposed topics of interest to attendees relevant to the needs of Wisconsin. Please review these topics of interest prior to submitting.
