AFFILIATE EVENT WATG Webinar - More Than Smart: Understanding Gifted Learners at Home and School
State Affiliate Event: Wisconsin Association for Talented and Gifted
Event Details
What does it really mean to be gifted, and what does that mean for how we support students at home and in school?
Giftedness is about much more than high grades or being "smart." In this session, we'll look at some of the characteristics and misconceptions surrounding giftedness, how gifted learners may experience school differently, and what parents and educators can do to better support their learning and development. We'll also touch on Wisconsin's requirements for gifted education and what those mean for students and families.
This session is intended for parents, caregivers, educators, and anyone interested in better understanding gifted learners.
