What is Ignite?

The Ignite Educator Learning Network is a group membership designed for schools and districts that want a consistent, sustainable approach to gifted education.

It provides district-wide access to foundational gifted education learning and resources—so all educators, not just specialists, have the tools to recognize and support gifted learners. Ignite is built to align with district professional development structures and funding, making gifted education training accessible, manageable, and scalable. To join e-mail membership@nagc.org.

Why Ignite?

Advanced learners exist in every classroom. Most advanced learners spend the majority of their day in general education classrooms. Yet most educators receive little to no preparation in how to meet their needs. As a result, gifted students’ experiences can vary widely from classroom to classroom.

Ignite was created to address this gap by building a shared foundation of gifted education understanding across all educators, supporting more consistent and equitable practices district-wide.
