Professional Bio
Dr. Corey Jordan Gray is an educational philosopher, creativity advocate, and equity champion based in Atlanta, Georgia. As an educator, Corey has taught in traditional public, private, and neighborhood charter school settings as an elementary educator, a middle school math teacher and department head, a mentor teacher, a special education and gifted teacher, and an adjunct instructor at the collegiate level. He also is the Founder and CEO of Geniusology, an educational firm whose mission centers on awakening and cultivating the genius in every child. Corey holds two degrees from Georgia State University and a Ph.D. in Educational Psychology with an emphasis on Gifted and Creative Education from the University of Georgia. He is a sought-after speaker and author whose work explores culturally responsive gifted education, teacher mindsets and practices, and the cultivation of creative talent in historically marginalized learners.
