Leadership & Advocacy Conference Update

2020 Leadership & Advocacy Conference Postponed

As we all have seen in the news, the situation related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve in unpredictable ways. Events are changing each day, adding more and more uncertainty to an already anxious situation.

After extensive and collaborative deliberation with the NAGC Board of Directors leadership and staff, we have decided to cancel the upcoming Leadership & Advocacy Conference scheduled for March 15-17. This decision was not made easily, but done so to be abundantly cautious for everyone involved. Although reports from health officials indicate that the risk of exposure remains low, there are too many unknowns at this point.Moving ahead with the conference could potentially place attendees in harm’s way. Doing so would be untenable and irresponsible; the safety and well-being of our members must come first.

We are diligently working with the hotel to reschedule the Leadership & Advocacy Conference for a later date and will have additional information as soon as possible. Those who have registered for the conference will be registered for the rescheduled event; however, those who wish to receive a refund or credit for a future NAGC conference should contact Adriane Wiles at awiles@nagc.org.

These are exceptional times, ones we hope soon will pass. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding.
