NAGC works to support those who enhance the growth and development of gifted and talented children through education, advocacy, community building, and research
The Javits-Frasier Scholarship is intended to support teachers working in Title I schools who are new to the field of gifted education. The opportunity provides teachers the tools for identifying and understanding the needs of underserved gifted learners. Selected candidates will attend the NAGC annual convention and participate in activities focusing on the fundamentals of gifted education with an emphasis on working with underserved populations. Upon completion of the program, candidates will complete a short “project” exhibiting their understanding of the issues addressed.
