Using the NAGC-CEC Teacher Preparation Standards in the CAEP Accreditation Process

The Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) approved the use of the NAGC-CEC 2013 Teacher Preparation Standards in Gifted Education in the national accreditation process.  Individual programs seeking national recognition submit materials to CAEP that document that teacher candidates in gifted and talented education have mastered the gifted education standards.
