Network Leader Candidate Application

Thank you for your interest in becoming a network leader. 

Nominations must be received by April 9, 2018 at 11:59 PM EASTERN. The election opens June 15, 2018, and the term for succesful candidates begins September 1, 2018.


In order to run for a network leadership position, candidates must:

  • be a member of NAGC.
  • have been a member of the network for which they are running for at least two years.
  • not served as chair of this network before (you may have served as chair of another network).

To check your membership status, login to the NAGC website and go to My NAGC.  To verify you are a member of a network, email Carolyn Kaye.

  • Your resume/CV or a brief dscription of your career in gifted education
  • Four-color, high resolution photograph in jpeg, png, or gif format
  • Statment of candidacy that includes your vision for the network
Please use a high-resolution 4-color photograph
Your statement can be up to 100 words and it will be used online and in the ballot. The Elections Committee reserves the right to edit any statement over 100 words to fit the online ballot format.
