About New Orleans

Here, in this corner of the American South, where European traditions blend with Caribbean influences, the history is as colorful as the local architecture; the food is the stuff of legend. Haitian and African Creoles developed an exotic, spicy cuisine and were instrumental in creating jazz and Cajun Zydeco. The street names are French and Spanish, the Creole architecture comes in a carnival of tropical colors, and the voodoo is a Caribbean import. The magic is irresistible.

Getting There

Presiding over the mighty Mississippi, the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel serves as host to a majority of New Orleans meetings. Three blocks from the French Quarter, our Convention site is located on the banks of the Mississippi River, adjacent to Riverwalk Marketplace, featuring 140 shops and restaurants. And the Hilton is just 15 miles from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport. There are plenty of flights into New Orleans; Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport offers 132 flights serving 36 cities.

Airline Discounts

Are you looking to cut costs and still get the full Convention experience? NAGC has arranged with American and Delta Airlines for you to receive discounts off of the lowest available fare if you book your flight with their group booking agent and use the promo codes below.

American Airlines/Avis Rental Car

Participants will receive a 5% discount off the lowest published fare and discounted rates off rental cars by booking directly with American Airlines at www.aa.com or 1-800-433-7300, Avis by phone at 1-800433-1790. Event/Promo Code for NAGC is 59H1BG.

Delta Airlines

Participants will receive a 5% - 10% discount off lowest published fares. Discounts are only applicable to roundtrip travel and for fares greater than $160 each way. Meeting discounts are available only via phone by calling 1-800-328-1111 and referring to Group/Promo Code NY2BT.

Flight dates: Discounted flights must arrive no more than three days before the start of the convention and depart no more than three days after the end of the convention.

Once You're on the Ground

NAGC will post options for transportation to the hotels and more travel helps as we get closer to the Convention date.
