Karen joined the NAGC staff in 2008. She directs the marketing and communications efforts for the association, seeking to engage members and nonmembers in utilizing NAGC resources. Karen leads the marketing for the annual convention, including sponsorship. Karen has concentrated her professional duties in the field of education and has previously worked in marketing and communications at CoSN, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and Youth for Understanding International Exchange. She also spent five years at a trade association, the Society of American Florists. Karen is a Certified Association Executive and an alumnus of the University of Maryland College of Journalism.
