Welcome, Parents! These pages are designed for those interested in learning more about high potential, giftedness, and talent development. Within this section, we give you information gleaned from resources around the world in response to questions received at the NAGC office. Over the past four years, we have answered over 4,000 e-mail inquiries, which have been divided into the main categories of this section.  Resources were chosen to not only peel away the myths and mystique that can confuse the support of giftedness and gifted education with elitism, but also to give you ideas and strategies to support your child.

Parents make a profound difference in their child's talent development, and the difference is a positive one when they are provided with timely, direct, and practical resources. It is our intent to help you effectively advocate not only for your child, but also ultimately for all gifted children across the nation.
