About Parenting for High Potential

Parenting for High Potential (PHP) is an award-winning, full-color, quarterly publication of the National Association for Gifted Children. Rich in useful content, PHP has established an exemplary collection of high-quality information for parents and family members of children with high potential in grades pre-K to 8.

Each issue of PHP contains

  • Special Feature Articles pertaining to issues related to giftedness;
  • Parenting Questions and Answers in which experts address readers' concerns about maximizing their children's potential;
  • Tools of the trade providing a reviews of educational resources for children as well as an annual list of toy recommendations just in time for the holiday season;
  • connecting with kids including games, puzzles, contests, mazes, projects, and other interactive activities designed to be both challenging and fun for the whole family.

Since 1996, PHP has provided practical tools and advice for families allowing them to explore various talent development pathways and destinations with their children.

Dr. Jennifer Jolly from the Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, serves as editor of the magazine.
