Company Information
Company: Envision by Mind Vine Press
Website: www.mindvinepress.com
Description: Looking to differentiate by content, process, and end product, as well as by students’ abilities and learning styles? Want to accomplish this within a project-centered, yearlong program based on the NAGC’s exemplary standards and best practices? Hoping to challenge your students with independent learning while greatly alleviating your workload? If so, Envision is the solution.

Created by an experienced teacher, Envision by Mind Vine Press is a dynamic, real-world-based curriculum targeted to gifted learners and high-achieving students in grades three through six. Each program (some coming soon) within the Envision curriculum offers a yearlong, multidisciplinary series of quarterly projects developed to foster intuitive, high-level thinking.

For each quarterly project, students will research a topic relevant to their lives, make informed decisions, explain and justify their progress in writing, give a presentation, create an exhibit, and compile a portfolio that includes such things as:

• an itinerary
• a memoir
• detailed maps
• an interview
• a customized flow chart
• financial charts and graphs
• a computer-generated brochure
• a cover letter and resume
• three-dimensional visuals
• a newspaper

and much more.

Envision teaches students skills that will apply in the classroom today and in their lives tomorrow.

Envision is the perfect educational tool that:

• Reaches students’ diverse personalities, abilities, and learning styles through real-world, choice-based projects.
• Adapts to an ever-changing standard curriculum.
• Produces clear, objective-based project assessments by both teacher and student.

Best of all, students have fun while they engage challenging material and learn new ways of thinking and problem solving.

Each Envision program includes a comprehensive, step-by-step manual with clear examples and ready-to-use forms, charts, signs, posters, certificates, rubrics, and detailed assessment forms. Also included are a customizable CD and more than 60 student resource cards!

Envision works in any educational environment, whether as part of a specialized gifted curriculum for a small group or an entire class, or as the cornerstone to an enrichment program. It's also ideal for home schooling.
